Thank You for helping Spring Clean St. John’s Church

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along to help with the recent Spring Clean at St. John’s Church. It was wonderful to see members of the congregation working side by side with support from the wider community, including a valued volunteer from Peasedown.

Together, an incredible amount was achieved in just a short time. Dust was tackled everywhere, including the high ceilings, which certainly took plenty of effort! The kitchen servery was thoroughly cleaned, windows were polished, and the whole church was given a much-needed freshening up.

Outside, the walkway around the church, where moss had built up over time, was sprayed and prepared for removal to help make the path safer for everyone who uses it. Inside, walls were scraped back where plaster had been flaking, helping to prepare areas for future improvement.

The choir vestry was also emptied and cleaned, making way for an exciting new project currently being developed in that space. To find out what is planned click here.
