Tails Wagging at Bubble Church

At Bubble Church last Sunday 1st March, our puppets brought the Bible story of Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey to life. It’s been wonderful to see five of our young people serving so confidently on the puppet team.

After the story, the children joined in with a hands-on activity, pretending to be the donkeys helping Jesus on his journey. They tucked in their “donkey tails,” created a soft road using coats and cushions, and clip-clopped along as the grown-ups called out, “Hosanna!” The activity helped everyone picture what it might have been like when Jesus entered Jerusalem.

The service ended by reminding everyone that Jesus was surrounded by love and friends, and that we can show we love Jesus by praying, singing, reading the Bible, and telling others about him. Then everyone prayed together, thanking Jesus for loving them and asking for help to show their love in return.

There was plenty of fun and laughter, and lots of enthusiastic tail-wagging from our happy little donkeys!
