Dementia Friendly Carol Service

This joint event put together by Remind UK, Dementia Friendly Peasedown and St John’s Church was a great success.

It was lovely to welcome a very different congregation to our Church alongside church members and to celebrate the birth of Jesus with a short service of readings and carols followed by a cup of tea and mince pies while being entertained with Christmas songs by the children of Learning Tree Pre-school.
Many thanks to Rachel for leading the service and all those who came along and helped to make this such a success.
We hope to build on this success with Easter and Harvest celebrations as we seek to reach out to and serve those members of our community with a dementia diagnosis and their carers who feel excluded from so much because of the difficulties they face.
