If you would like to serve at St Julian’s please prayerfully consider the following areas of ministry and then respond online below.

Some ways of serving on Sunday mornings (10am Service)

Welcoming and Sidesperson Reading the passage Leading the congregation in prayer Making and serving coffee Leading the service and/or preaching

Mission and Evangelism

Help with running an Alpha Course Help with village-wide community groups  or events Supporting Foodbank (collection point is the village shop)

Pastoral Ministry

Supporting others through leading or membership of a Community Group Visiting sick or home bound members of the Church

Prayer during the week

Wellow prayer group – 3pm on Tuesday afternoon at Pauline’s home Monday evening Praise and Prayer (7.45-9.30pm) at the Vicarage

Organisation and Administrative Ministries

Member of Parochial Church Committee (PCC) (elected position) Member of a Committee: • Finance Committee – helping with the church finances • Social Committee – helping with the organisation of social events • Mission/Outreach Committee – helping decide where our missionary giving goes • Fabric Committee – helping with the maintenance and oversight of the church buildings • Flowers – helping to produce flower arrangements in church

Some other Ministries

Bell Ringing Bi-Annual Church Cleaning Regular Monthly Church cleaning Verger at Weddings or funerals ‘Meals to bless’. Preparing meals from time to time for those in need. Babysitting to enable parents to be involved with Church activities Supporting Soul Food Deeper and/or our local Filling Station Helping, from time to time, at the Toy Library Helping, from time to time, at the Breakfast Club
